Suzanne Martin – Head of Facilities – All academies
I have worked for STEP since April 2012 and I oversee the management all of our onsite catering teams.
I have worked in catering since 2003 and enjoy working with the kitchen staff and being part of STEP.
Our mission is to encourage children to make healthy choices, but also giving them the opportunities to experience a wide variety of different cuisines.
Stefania Cavaliere – Senior Catering Manager – All academies
I started working with STEP Academy Trust in 2013 as a Kitchen Assistant. During this time, I have been fortunate to have been able to recognise my potential and develop my passion for cooking and catering.
My current role is to ensure that the standards throughout the academies represent a friendly and professional dining experience; from our staff as well as the quality of our selected produce in order to deliver a balanced and healthy meal.
Jo Sparks – Area Catering Manager
I have worked in catering since 2006. I started to work for STEP Academy Trust in 2012 at Gonville Academy.
In September 2020 I progressed to my current role overseeing South London and East Sussex STEP academies.
My role involves training the Associate Catering Mangers to ensure the smooth running of the kitchens and lunchtime service.
I am passionate and committed to ensuring that STEP provides a healthy, tasty meal for all of our pupils.
Clare Gould – Associate Catering Manager
I have worked in catering since 1997, in hotels, fine dining restaurants and have experience in large events, such as the London Olympics and Open Golf.
I was the Kitchen Manager at Beddington Park Academy where I progressed in my current role which enabled me to support and oversee the running of the kitchens that I manage within the Trust.
My passion and commitment to food helps me to deliver to the children healthy and well balanced meals whilst supporting the Kitchen Managers to do the same.
